ABSTRACT

Project BRAHMS is a clinical imaging system that has been implemented at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) for use by referring physicians. The purpose of the system is to provide customers of BWH radiological services with fast, local area, on-line access to digital radiological images and diagnostic reports, for consultation and review. The system provides an alternative to film. Recent enhancements to the system include intranet and internet access via the World Wide Wide, and an electronic teaching file module.
