5th Annual Harvard Digital Video and Multimedia Fair

Call for Participation

The 5th Annual Digital Video and Multimedia Fair at Harvard University is scheduled to be held in Taubman Center at Kennedy School of Government on Thursday, May 7, 1998 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The Fair is sponsored by the Imaging and Visualization Working Group of the ABCD Committee with assistance from the Provost's Office and Kennedy School of Government. The Fair events will be followed by a Workshop from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM hosted by the Multimedia Infrastructure Project in the University.

Like the previous years, the Fair will have two segments: booths and presentations. The keynote topic for the year is "Digital Libraries on the Internet". Dr. John B. Howard, Librarian at Music Library at Harvard, will be the keynote speaker.

We invite all interested members of the Harvard community to participate in the event. Sixteen network-accessible demonstration booths are planned along with eight fifteen minute presentations. Please contact Brian Shultz for queries on booths and reserving space. Please contact Bijoy Misra if you wish to participate in the presentation stream. Registration for the Fair will open on April 17 at which time the complete program will be posted.

Thank you for your participation and happy multimedia at Harvard!
