Design, Develop, Deliver: Multimedia Video Production (Harvard@Home)

Forrest Glick, Creative Director
Rudy Hypolite, Video Production
Gilbert Trout, Interface Engineer

Harvard@Home produces video and multimedia web sites that cover a variety of topics, from poetry to number theory to world politics. The Web site is an ongoing experiment in the production of distance learning modules. Launched last March, the site currently features over 16 custom-designed learning programs that utilize streaming video to deliver content to an audience of alumni and Harvard community members. Addressing technical implementation and pedagogical considerations, this lecture will explore the development of the Harvard@Home project. Speakers will include the members of the three-person team.

On-line Presentation Materials

Harvard Business School Interactive (HBSi)

Judy Uhl, VP and Chief Learning Officer, HBS Interactive
Rosalie Kerr, Director of Product Management
Jamie Dreher, Instructional Designer

The HBS Interactive product team will talk about the challenges and opportunities they face in developing multimedia materials for an audience of managers around the globe. They will show examples of what they are working on and share some thoughts about how to engage teams in complex product development.
